How to Be Sure
You’ll
Go to Heaven!
Since no one is perfect, how can
any of us hope to go to heaven where no sin is allowed—not
even one? On our own, we can’t meet such high standards! The
good news is that God loves us so much that he offers us a
mediator—his own son, Jesus! To spend eternity with God in
heaven, each of us needs to have a personal relationship
with his son.
If you would like to begin a relationship with Jesus,
simply say, “Lord, help me to respond to your love. I’m
sorry for my sins. Please forgive me. Jesus, I believe that
you are the Son of God and that you died on the cross to
take the punishment for my sins. I believe that God raised
you to life, proving your power over sin and death. Come
into my life and fill me with your Holy Spirit. Continue to
reveal yourself to me and give me a deeper understanding of
who you are and who I am in you.”
If you said this prayer, God promises to wipe your
slate clean (as if you’d never sinned)! He also assures you
that you’ll spend a wonderful eternity with him in heaven.
Please take a moment to tell a pastor and/or a friend about
your decision to begin a relationship with Jesus—the Savior
of the world!
