Classes
are held at 9:15 a.m. (the new schedule began March 30, 2008). The children
will enjoy a Bible lesson, application page, snack,
and lots of fun and fellowship with friends!
Parents' Day Out!
A Special Program for Members
of Covenant Presbyterian Church
Parents, if you'd like some free time,
we'll care for your kids on most Fridays from 9:00 a.m. to
1:00 p.m.! Programs are designed for children ages
three months to kindergarten.
Children enjoy a Bible lesson, art project, play time, and
lunch. Parents, please provide each child with a sack lunch,
and we'll do the rest! Advance registration is not
required. Simply show up and sign in your children!
MOPS
(Mothers of Preschoolers)
Starting in autumn
of 2008, Mothers of Preschoolers will meet again!
(See the dates and times below!) Moms will enjoy small-group discussions, guest speakers,
creative activities, fun, friendships, encouragement, and
great childcare! Children will be cared for in appropriate-age
groups in the nursery and Children’s Center. Older children
enjoy a Bible lesson and related art project. Come and join
us!

MOPS Open
House on August 26!
MOPS of Covenant will kick off again this year on
Tuesday, August 26, with an OPEN HOUSE from 10:00 AM
to 12:00 PM. Moms will be able to tour the nursery,
meet the Steering Team, meet fellow moms, learn
about the theme for the year, and fill out all
necessary paperwork. MOPS exists to encourage,
equip, and develop every mother of preschoolers to
realize her potential as a woman, mother, and leader
in the name of Jesus Christ. If you know a mom with
a little one from an infant through a kindergartner,
please invite them to this event.
MOPS
Meeting on September 9!
Our first MOPS meeting will take place on Tuesday,
September 9, from 9:30 AM to 12:00 PM. We will
continue to meet through the year on the second and
fourth Tuesdays from 9:30 AM to 12:00 PM. There will
be fellowship, food, guest speakers, service
projects, crafts, childcare, and much more at our
meetings. If you have any questions or would like to
register for MOPS, please contact Anne Schorle at
369-3034.
Missions
Our children learn how to reach out to others in need by
participating in various projects, which include making
cards for shut-ins and clients of Meals on Wheels; doing
special projects for the sick; providing canned goods for
the Soup Kitchen; and sending Bibles to kids in Africa.
Childcare may be available for
other events such as Bible studies and concerts. Please
