Thank you to the ladies who joined
us for the 20th Annual
Presbyterian Women's
Gathering
on
Saturday, February 13! Over
250 women from across the Peace River Presbytery
worshipped and fellowshipped together!
The Rev. Jessica MacMillan, the
keynote speaker, provided a stirring
message. We're grateful that
she was able to join us from snowy
Ohio!

Prayer Shawl Ministry
If you have a family member or a friend who is
in need of comfort and
who would like a
prayer shawl, please call the church office at
334-8937, and the receptionist will forward your
name/number to a member of the committee. Arrangements will be made with you to receive a
shawl that has been prayed over. Our sincere thanks
to all who have knitted and crocheted the beautiful
prayer shawls that have already brought heartfelt
comfort to many, including those who are ill or hospitalized.
The Prayer Shawl Ministry members have been on a
summer hiatus but will resume meeting in
September. This ministry is open to everyone,
especially to those who love to knit or
crochet! Members meet monthly to knit/crochet
shawls, which they donate to the ministry.
Many work on the shawls at home and then
turn them in to be prayed over
at the monthly meeting. If you wish to
become involved in the Prayer Shawl Ministry, please contact the church
office at 334-8937, and the receptionist will
forward your name and number to a member of the
committee.
The Prayer Shawl
Ministry meets at 10:00 a.m. on the third Tuesday of
each month,
Sept. through May.
Please join them in room F207!
Check out their bulletin board in the south hallway! |
