Prayer Ministry

Prayer Concerns are listed in the Sunday bulletin.  See the bulletin link  in the top right margin of the news page.

The Prayer Chain is composed of people who pray for those in need when you call the church office with a request.  If you would like more information, please call the church office at 334-8937.

The Prayer Room is in one of the front rooms of Covenant House; there is a sign on the door. You may pick up the key at the desk in the office. It is there for your personal use and for prayers for others.  There is resource material there.

 

Worship

"Therefore, since we are receiving a kingdom that cannot be shaken, let us give thanks, by which we offer to God an acceptable worship with reverence and awe…"—Hebrews 12:28

We believe that the central point of any church's life must be the worship of her people. These are the moments in which we are led before the throne of God's grace to ascribe to Him the praise, honor, and glory that He, and He alone, is worthy to receive. Indeed, the great end of our existence is to glorify God and enjoy Him forever. Worship is the primary means by which we accomplish that goal.

Please Join Us in Worship

Sunday Morning
Please join us at our church facility on McGregor Boulevard!  Covenant offers several worship services, including a new contemporary service. Sunday morning is a rich blend of praise, prayers, hymns, anthems, choruses, children's messages, sacraments, and sermons - all of which are designed to flow into a single thread or theme for that particular day.

Special Worship Services Include
• Ash Wednesday service
• Holy Week services, including Maundy Thursday and Good Friday
• Advent service (Hanging of the Greens)
• Christmas Eve services

Tape and CD Ministry
If you are unable to attend worship, you may be put on a regular tape list by calling the church office. We will mail you a tape of the service each week.  CDs are also available.  Please call the church office at 239-334-8937 for more information.  Additionally, sermon audio is available on our website.
